Matthew Cook
Matthew loves to work with individuals and teams to get the best out of people. By combining information and humour, Matthew’s engaging facilitation style leaves delegates with a fun and memorable experience. His sociability, combined with a solid work ethic result in an ability to build strong relationships and solutions with a diverse range of clients.
He has introduced the Insights Discovery model to more than 3000 people in over a dozen countries. He has worked with teams across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, including FTSE 100 and SNP 100 companies. His facilitation style has been described by delegates as “inclusive, humorous and knowledgeable”.
Matthew’s experience as an accredited Insights Discovery Practitioner, facilitator and coach enables him to meet any challenge with a bespoke solution. He works with organisations to design and deliver programmes that inspire sustainable change for the better, to achieve long-lasting results for team effectiveness
Matthew strives to make things better, rather than simply accepting them as they are. This makes him the perfect fit for his role as our Chief Technology Officer. He oversees all technology systems to support the organisation’s goals. In Matthew’s Insights Discovery profile, he says the words that describe him best are “an ingenious thinker and long-range planner”. Matthew applies this in the work that he does for The Colour Works for business-wide strategy, implementation, and process improvement.
Matthew holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham. When not working, Matthew is seen as being a mediocre striker (his words) in the Mid-Essex Saturday football league, competing in Judo competitions or in a queue on the M25.
