Kathy von Rabenau
Kathy is passionate about the transformative impact that Insights Discovery can bring when used as a tool to cultivate effective and reflective leadership practice and team development.
With over 30 years in senior leadership (as well as teaching English) within secondary education, Kathy has considerable experience of building a culture of trust, integrity and honesty to secure outstanding outcomes within challenging circumstances. An integral part of this success has been achieved through Kathy’s extensive work with The Colour Works and Insights Discovery Personal Profiles over the last 10 years to underpin leadership development programmes within the Trust. Kathy became a trained facilitator in 2019. As a result, she has delivered a variety of bespoke leadership development sessions at both primary and secondary level for colleagues in a range of education settings across the Midlands and brings her expertise to her facilitation of national leadership training programmes within education. She is also thrilled to deliver programmes focused on building self-awareness and confidence for 16-18 year olds through The Colour Works Foundation.
Kathy is driven by a desire to help people develop their emotional intelligence so that they can enhance their contribution both as individuals and as part of a team. Feedback from delegates frequently values Kathy’s incisive questioning and probing facilitation style that leads to real growth and development of potential.
In her spare time, Kathy enjoys reading and theatre, sings in a choir, loves to travel and spend precious time with family and friends. She also volunteers as a school governor.
